    ANOTHER UNCOMMON MOVE BY GGO

    H.E. Mr Godwin Obaseki Governor of Edo State has proceeded on annual vacation and handed over power to His Deputy, Rt. Hon Comrade Philip Shaibu. This makes Him (Deputy) the acting Governor pending the resumption of Our Alaghodaro Governor as specified in the transmitted letter

    Obaseki has once again set another democratic landmark in the history of governance in Edo state and Nigeria in General. It's an open secret that Governors don't like transmitting power to their deputies even when they embark on vacation for reason best know to them.

    I want to applaud the synergy and the cordial working relationship between Governor Godwin Nogheghase obaseki and his deputy Comrade Rt Hon Philip Shaibu. This is a pointer to the fact that Edo state is on the move to the next level of Alaghodaro
